Our history
Blundstone was established in 1870 and despite growing to become one of the world’s most recognizable boot brands, the company remains Tasmanian. For 150 years, Blundstone as a company has always been on the move, constantly evolving and improving. This has been the case since John Blundstone began creating footwear for purposes; The kind that could withstand cobbled streets, rugged farmland, dance and factory floors – no matter where in the world the adventure took place.
Over the years, Blundstone’s business has developed a lot, but its commitment to quality and innovation has endured the Great Depression, both world wars and a fashion world in constant change.
The footwear are used by young and old alike, but Blundstone thrives best on those with a young mind, adventurous spirit and ‘doer’ attitude. These boots were created to go, but only you set the limitations, because they can take you everywhere.
THEY ARE FAR MORE THAN JUST BOOTS.
THEY ARE BLUNDSTONE.
